THOMAS SUGGITT, a husbandman of Kirby Grindalythe, had the following children:

  1. Thomas SUGGITT (bpt 1737 in Kirby Grindalythe)
  2. William SUGGITT (bpt 1739 in Kirby Grindalythe)
  3. Robert SUGGITT (bpt 1747 in Kirby Grindalythe)
  4. SOLOMON SUGGITT (bpt 1748 in Kirby Grindalythe), a proctor/farmer, married ANN SAW(Y)ER in 1774 in Ottringham.  They had the following children:
    1. Mary SUGGITT (bpt 1775 in Holmpton)
    2. Thomas SUGGITT (buried 1779 in Easington)
    3. THOMAS SUGGITT (bpt 1779 in Kilnsea), a proctor/farmer/ labourer, who died in 1849 in Beeford.  he had married JANE HERON in 1806 in Garton in Holderness and had the following children:
      1. Henry SUGGITT (bpt 1807 in Kilnsea), an agricultural labourer who died in 1862 in Beeford.
      2. Ann SUGGITT (bpt 1809 in Kilnsea)
      3. Eliza Jane SUGGITT (bpt 1811 in Kilnsea)
      4. Sophia SUGGITT (bpt 1813 in Kilnsea)
      5. Miriam SUGGITT (bpt 1815 in Kilnsea) died in 1842 in Beeford.   She had one daughter:
        1. Emily SUGGITT (1836-1845 in Beeford)
      6. Petchell SUGGITT (bpt 1816 in Kilnsea)
      7. Emma SUGGITT (bpt 1819 in Garton in Holderness)
      8. Jane SUGGITT (bpt 1820 in Garton in Holderness)
      9. MARY HERON SUGGITT (born c1824 in Garton in Holderness) married JOSEPH EASBY in 1848 in Nunkeeling.
    4. William SUGGITT (bpt 1781 in Kilnsea), a farmer who married Margaret Brown in 1804 in Halsham.  Their children were:
      1. Mary Ann SUGGITT (bpt 1805 in Easington) married John Eggleston in 1837 in Easington.
      2. William SUGGITT (bpt 1807 in Easington)
      3. Sarah SUGGITT (bpt 1808 in Easington)
      4. Robert SUGGITT (bpt 1810 in Easington)
      5. William Brown SUGGITT (bpt 1813 in Easington)
    5. Robert SUGGITT (bpt 1783 in Kilnsea)
    6. Edward SUGGITT (bpt 1785 in Kilnsea) was a labourer and lifeboatman.  With his wife, Hannah, he had the following children:
      1. Ann SUGGITT (bpt 1814 in Skirlaugh)
      2. Susannah SUGGITT (bpt 1817 in Kilnsea)
      3. Mary SUGGITT (bpt 1819 in Kilnsea)
      4. Charlotte SUGGITT (bpt 1827 in Kilnsea)
